Adya Jordan, stay-at-home mom with strange genes,
awakens after a horrific accident to find herself reliving a past unlike
the one she remembers. The year is 1985, she is fourteen years old
again, but nothing else is the same. Prompted by
psychics and resisted by terrorists, she discovers a group of scientists
from the future have been rewriting history to prepare the world for a
calamity threatening the survival of the human race. On November 11,
2011, a disaster will strike the planet, creating the need for this team
of experts to accelerate the development of technologies and research on
a global scale. Using the omnipotent Three Eleven Corporation as the
front for their operations, they are quietly changing the world.
Preparing an oblivious world for an event of
disastrous proportions is no easy task and Adya wants to be a part of
it. One major problem the group faces is none of them know the true
nature of the threat facing the world. From tropical islands to
underground cities, microbiology to cryotechnology, the company covers
all the bases. Adya faces an uphill battle against pride and prejudice
within the organization, while battling her own personal demons
including the loss of her original family to an inexorable fate.
Adya completes a week of orientation with each
scientist, learning about the projects and how each man is contributing
toward saving the future. Spunky and feisty, she does not hesitate to
speak her mind and challenge the status quo. She is finally banished to
the underground city, Sanctum, for asking too many questions of Three
Eleven CEO Abraham Fairfield. Abraham has run the company for two
decades and refuses to allow the newcomer to disrupt his plans. Under
the surface of the Canadian North, Peter Merten, Sanctum geneticist, is
fascinated by more than Adya s cells and together they attempt to
decipher the meaning of her presence at Three Eleven while decoding the
mystery inside her.
One man, Nicholas Weaver, knows the true reason why
Adya is reliving her past. Trapped in the future, he's destined to watch
the tragedy play out over and over again. This time, he hopes she will
change it by discovering her purpose before time runs out.
Adya Jordan had it all. Is she willing to give up her
former family-and perhaps even her own life-to save the world?
